After a defensive mix-up in Ventiil's zone, Helger Volmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Lamp came out of the goal and Helger Volmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Anti Heinsalu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anti Heinsalu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Lamp having to interfere. Anti Heinsalu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Karl Lamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Ventiil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Sparta:s goal. The goalkeeper, Karl Lamp, was totally fooled by FC Sparta's Roomet Äkke, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 21 minutes into the match, FC Sparta's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Lukk came free, but Laur Nikopensius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ventiil booed when FC Sparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olari Emapoeg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anti Heinsalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvard Haljas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Sparta getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Olari Aav hit a great ball. Laur Nikopensius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Lukk in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helger Volmer was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, FC Sparta's Anti Heinsalu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Lamp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Anti Heinsalu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Karl Lamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anton Hansson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ventiil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Hansson couldn't finish the play. Anton Hansson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Ventiil's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Olari Aav had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ventiil's goalkeeper Karl Lamp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute Helger Volmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Lamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Helger Volmer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Lamp was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience was convinced that Helger Volmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Lamp was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The FC Sparta fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when FC Sparta's Helger Volmer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
