The crowd rose to their feet as Valjamae's Kaido Noorsalu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martti Kont. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 27th minute of the game, Üllar Nõmmemaa landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aivar Jors during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valjamae's Ilmar Viitkar was substituted for Üllar Nõmmemaa. After 29 played minutes Karlova got a freekick which was hit by Aivar Jors. Kalev Müürisepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martti Kont having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Kaido Noorsalu rounded Karlova's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Kalev Müürisepp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elmo Õige made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Valjamae's Rando Looga. Kalev Müürisepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikk Nuiaots was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Aivar Jors collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Jakob Toim fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valjamae's protests and gave Jakob Toim a yellow card for diving instead. Jakob Toim kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Valjamae's Ilmar Viitkar suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jüri Käärt's late challenge caught a Valjamae's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jüri Käärt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Valjamae booed when Karlova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jüri Käärt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valjamae's Kunnar Lubi was substituted for Tiit Virve. Martti Kont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Lutter in the 78th minute of the match. Avo Valvik kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Kalev Müürisepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karlova's Martti Kont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rando Looga in the 82nd minute of play. If Ilmar Viitkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martti Kont didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Valjamae's Kalev Müürisepp shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valjamae had played much better football throughout.
