Martti Pihlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Vambola Nurmela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, FC KirKar's goalkeeper Kris Nõmmik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alo Ruuda. Kris Nõmmik made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Eldur Hommuk sent off a good shot on target. Eldur Hommuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kris Nõmmik made a huge save. If Raido Unt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Jaagup Müürisepp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raido Unt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eldur Hommuk kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martti Pihlak during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Siseputsad booed when FC KirKar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martti Pihlak didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC KirKar's Kris Nõmmik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raido Unt in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eldur Hommuk got free with Kris Nõmmik in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Martti Pihlak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vambola Nurmela. FC Siseputsad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martti Pihlak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robi Pihlak made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raido Unt in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kris Nõmmik saved FC KirKar from getting behind. Kris Nõmmik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raido Unt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kris Nõmmik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raido Unt in the 64th minute of the match. Kris Nõmmik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eldur Hommuk in the 70th minute of play. Raido Unt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Nõmmik having to interfere. Robi Pihlak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Siseputsad's Vambola Nurmela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Siseputsad from getting a goal against them. Ülo Lipmeister kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Kris Nõmmik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eldur Hommuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The FC Siseputsad supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC KirKar's performance. The match ended with a win for FC KirKar.
