In the 6th minute Asko Esnar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Valgma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Norman Velling put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kuno Valgma. After 14 minutes, Roland Helm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuulavere and the Kani JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Tuulavere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Helm to maneuver through the defense. Urmo Tulp, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Asko Esnar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuno Valgma was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Norman Velling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kuno Valgma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kuno Valgma made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Norman Velling sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Janari Hääl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argo Äkke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asko Esnar to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tuulavere booed when Kani JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Ümarik didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Asko Esnar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuno Valgma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asko Esnar, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Endel Lille fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argo Äkke having to interfere. The supporters of Kani JK booed when Tuulavere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Loide didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Janari Hääl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tuulavere's Norman Velling in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kani JK's goalie prevented a goal. Kani JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
