Põhja Tallinn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After having played for 39 minutes, Georg Viin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saue Highschool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Viin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Allan Lepist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Georg Viin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Lehtmäe was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haarald Jaama made a kick off. The supporters of FC Saue Highschool booed when Põhja Tallinn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helari Vaarmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Allan Lepist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Lehtmäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enar Lepisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, FC Saue Highschool's goal looked a bit too open when Haarald Jaama came free, but Aare Veermäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Viin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Lepist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Sven Lehtmäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Põhja Tallinn's Enar Lepisk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aare Veermäe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Enar Lepisk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aare Veermäe having to interfere. Haarald Jaama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Saue Highschool's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
