FC MVP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purksi FC the free kick. Kaarel Vollmer struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tambet Uustalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purksi FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meelis Raasuke in the 27th minute of play forced Purksi FC's goalkeeper Norman Nigul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tambet Uustalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaarel Vollmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norman Nigul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Kaarel Vollmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purksi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaarel Vollmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tambet Uustalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Lahe was the one to do the kick off. Purksi FC's Norman Nigul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Purksi FC from getting a goal against them. Andres Lahe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Norman Nigul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Joosep Valdre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purksi FC and the FC MVP players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Norman Nigul managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when FC MVP's Meelis Raasuke fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
