Haarald Jaama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, FC Rakvik's Urmet Rüütel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven Lehtmäe. Sven Lehtmäe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Haarald Jaama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heigo Tilk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haarald Jaama in the 13th minute of play. Sven Lehtmäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urmet Rüütel in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rakvik's zone, Haarald Jaama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heigo Tilk came out of the goal and Haarald Jaama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Haarald Jaama left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Põhja Tallinn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 33rd minute of the match Kaido Saamatu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heigo Tilk skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute, Haarald Jaama left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Põhja Tallinn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Sven Lehtmäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urmet Rüütel in the 41st minute of the match. Sven Lehtmäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urmet Rüütel in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haarald Jaama to strike the kick off in the second half. If Kuno Müürsepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. FC Rakvik's Kuno Müürsepp got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kuno Müürsepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Lehtmäe having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haarald Jaama in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heigo Tilk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Haarald Jaama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heigo Tilk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Rakvik's Heigo Tilk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haarald Jaama in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, FC Rakvik's goalkeeper Heigo Tilk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enar Lepisk. Sven Lehtmäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuno Müürsepp, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With his leg Heigo Tilk managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Põhja Tallinn's Enar Lepisk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd minute Kuno Müürsepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Lehtmäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Haarald Jaama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heigo Tilk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urmet Rüütel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Lehtmäe having to interfere.
