Beto Marcico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Niidumaa having to interfere. Kristjan Mäetaguse did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Olaf Niidumaa 6 minutes into the match. Olaf Niidumaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristjan Mäetaguse in the 9th minute of play. Arne Ümarik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the FS Kiisamaa defense, Kuuno Lume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Niidumaa. The FS Kiisamaa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Niidumaa should have stopped the shot. After having played for 16 minutes, Kristjan Mäetaguse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Auckland Koalas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristjan Mäetaguse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristjan Mäetaguse had several of the FS Kiisamaa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Olaf Niidumaa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kristjan Mäetaguse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olaf Niidumaa having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of FS Kiisamaa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Auckland Koalas:s goal. Viljar Kabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eerik Kaalep in the 29th minute of the match. FS Kiisamaa's Olaf Niidumaa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FS Kiisamaa from getting a goal against them. Kristjan Mäetaguse struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Olaf Niidumaa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auckland Koalas. When Peedu Kiisk came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Auckland Koalas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peedu Kiisk couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Auckland Koalas booed when FS Kiisamaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Liik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Peedu Kiisk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Olaf Niidumaa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 41 in the game by Kristjan Mäetaguse from a close distance when the talented Olaf Niidumaa managed to make a qualified save. FS Kiisamaa's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eerik Kaalep made the kick off in the second half. Urmet Püss kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute Beto Marcico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Niidumaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Peedu Kiisk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olaf Niidumaa. FS Kiisamaa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peedu Kiisk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Olaf Niidumaa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Kristjan Mäetaguse put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olaf Niidumaa. 78 minutes into the game, Ilmar Allikas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auckland Koalas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FS Kiisamaa the free kick. A collision led to FS Kiisamaa getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Auckland Koalas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
