After 15 played minutes JK Leeskopa got a freekick which was hit by Janno Silm. Sebastian Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ats Asmer in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Vaino Üürike recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebastian Helström. Vaino Üürike showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Põltsamaa Põllumehed getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Olavi Rahumets hit a great ball. Mati Kaiklem scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rauno Redi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Valentin Vanghele managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Leeskopa's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Vanghele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rauno Redi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, JK Leeskopa's Gus Bond got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of JK Leeskopa booed when Põltsamaa Põllumehed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavi Rahumets didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agur Aavik was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ats Asmer in the 51st minute of play forced JK Leeskopa's goalkeeper Sebastian Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 played minutes Põltsamaa Põllumehed got a freekick which was hit by Bert Olumets. Rauno Redi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by JK Leeskopa's Mati Kaiklem. But to his dismay, Mati Kaiklem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 56thth minute of the game Mati Kaiklem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Rauno Redi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. JK Leeskopa's Sebastian Helström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaino Üürike in the 58th minute of play. Gus Bond kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Bert Olumets kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. JK Leeskopa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kuido Korra in the 63rd minute. Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Ats Asmer got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rauno Redi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Van Deuren, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Põltsamaa Põllumehed getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Udo Annama hit a great ball. Rudolf Ehasalu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rauno Redi. Põltsamaa Põllumehed's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rauno Redi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Vanghele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolf Van Deuren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rauno Redi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mati Kaiklem got free with Rauno Redi in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
