Bradon Grant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Rauno Redi made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, SK Kalev Pärnu's goal looked a bit too open when Vaino Üürike came free, but Philipp Ternes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Rauno Redi got control of the ball when Bradon Grant tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ats Asmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Põltsamaa Põllumehed's supporters rose to their feet, but Ats Asmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philipp Ternes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philipp Ternes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Olumets, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Bradon Grant hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Vaino Üürike struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Philipp Ternes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Põltsamaa Põllumehed. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agur Aavik to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ats Asmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Põltsamaa Põllumehed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Kalev Pärnu the free kick. The supporters of SK Kalev Pärnu booed when Põltsamaa Põllumehed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ats Asmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Põltsamaa Põllumehed defense, Rauno Haab kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rauno Redi. The Põltsamaa Põllumehed fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rauno Redi should have stopped the shot. Rauno Redi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SK Kalev Pärnu's Bradon Grant shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Faron in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rauno Redi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SK Kalev Pärnu's Philipp Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Olumets in the 67th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Jan-Olof Jelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philipp Ternes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaino Üürike in the 87th minute. In the 87th match minute, SK Kalev Pärnu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harri Nurmsalu to maneuver through the defense. Zlatan Videlov hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Eimar Lest's late challenge caught a Põltsamaa Põllumehed's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eimar Lest helped the player get up and apologised. Ats Asmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Philipp Ternes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agur Aavik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Philipp Ternes made a huge save. SK Kalev Pärnu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Põltsamaa Põllumehed for a fine match.
