Sebastian Helström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matei Ciocan's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mati Kaiklem managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Leeskopa's supporters rose to their feet, but Mati Kaiklem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viljar Kabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Matei Ciocan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, Matei Ciocan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mati Kaiklem came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the JK Leeskopa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mati Kaiklem couldn't finish the play. Mati Kaiklem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viljar Kabral having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Mati Kaiklem made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Auckland Koalas's Viljar Kabral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Alas in the 34th minute of play forced JK Leeskopa's goalkeeper Sebastian Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Helström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Marcico in the 35th minute. Viljar Kabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mati Kaiklem, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, JK Leeskopa's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Ciocan came free, but Sebastian Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mati Kaiklem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Auckland Koalas made a substitution. The audience was convinced that Matei Ciocan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Helström was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. The supporters of JK Leeskopa booed when Auckland Koalas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Ümarik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Auckland Koalas's zone, Mati Kaiklem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viljar Kabral came out of the goal and Mati Kaiklem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despite being the better team, JK Leeskopa failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
