Palaimon Telis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Gomatos having to interfere. After 6 minutes of play, au1979's Palaimon Telis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Gomatos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, au1979's goal looked a bit too open when Tityos Gianakopulos came free, but Odysseas Ladas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, au1979's Glauke Makricosta got a free kick in the 11th minute. With his leg Odysseas Ladas managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Tápais FC's Haides Paschalis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 19th match minute, au1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haimon Metrofanis to maneuver through the defense. Haides Paschalis in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Odysseas Ladas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tityos Gianakopulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Odysseas Ladas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tápais FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Tápais FC's Tityos Gianakopulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Tolis Banos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolis Banos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kostas Gomatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iolaos Econome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tityos Gianakopulos charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tityos Gianakopulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tápais FC's Tityos Gianakopulos got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tityos Gianakopulos to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tityos Gianakopulos in the 51st minute of play forced au1979's goalkeeper Odysseas Ladas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haides Paschalis took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Odysseas Ladas. Odysseas Ladas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 57th minute, Thomas Patrianakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xanthos Letsoss short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Kostas Gomatos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. au1979's Odysseas Ladas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haides Paschalis in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of au1979 booed when Tápais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Tsarouhtsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iolaos Econome charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iolaos Econome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tápais FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Iolaos Econome hit a great ball. Aris Stroggylis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kostas Gomatos. Tápais FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, au1979's Xanthos Letsos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tityos Gianakopulos in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odysseas Ladas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. au1979's Odysseas Ladas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haides Paschalis in the 92nd minute of play. When Tityos Gianakopulos came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tápais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tityos Gianakopulos couldn't finish the play.
