Kostas Mavrostomos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Folégandhros's zone, Iakobos Georgeakopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos came out of the goal and Iakobos Georgeakopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Green FF booed when Folégandhros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simeon Demetrious didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Aiolos Danas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyszkos Galitsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyszkos Galitsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aiolos Danas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute Gylippus Mousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyszkos Galitsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Folégandhros getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kostas Mavrostomos hit a great ball. After the first half Folégandhros were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kostas Mavrostomos made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aiolos Danas in the 53rd minute of play forced Green FF's goalkeeper Kyszkos Galitsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Iakobos Georgeakopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iakobos Georgeakopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Green FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Aiolos Danas scored to the left of an out of position Kyszkos Galitsis, making the score, 0-2. Green FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kostas Mavrostomos 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. After 68 minutes, Aiolos Danas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Folégandhros and the Green FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Aiolos Danas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Green FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Mavrostomos came free, but Kyszkos Galitsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyszkos Galitsis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lakis Kezdoglou went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Green FF's Kyszkos Galitsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Green FF from getting a goal against them. Kerkops Akrivopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iakobos Georgeakopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Kyszkos Galitsis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kyszkos Galitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aiolos Danas in the 94th minute of play.
