Akamas Brettos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aipytos Garofalis having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Aigimios Valkanas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metaxochórion and the Kıbrıs Türk Gücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Metaxochórion getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aigimios Valkanas hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Metaxochórion got a freekick which was hit by Aigis Manos. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Briarios Kourempes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Briarios Kourempes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aipytos Garofalis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iphitos Strilakos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Briarios Kourempes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metaxochórion's Aipytos Garofalis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
