The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauke Valkanas during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michalis Angelopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epigonoi Yfantis having to interfere. Epigonoi Yfantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Angelopoulos in the 9th minute of play. Kaineus Hristopoulos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Epigonoi Yfantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkas Papadakos in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkas Papadakos in the 14th minute of play forced Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's goalkeeper Epigonoi Yfantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Cheimadió's corner Phoibos Bilias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Epigonoi Yfantis quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Michalis Angelopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheimadió's supporters rose to their feet, but Michalis Angelopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epigonoi Yfantis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's Epigonoi Yfantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkas Papadakos in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arkas Papadakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epigonoi Yfantis was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Briarios Kourempes was the one to do the kick off. Michalis Angelopoulos struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Epigonoi Yfantis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheimadió. After a rather tough play, Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's Pavlos Lakiotis got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seleykos Petropoulos got free with Epigonoi Yfantis in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes Kıbrıs Türk Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Akamas Brettos. With a little luck, Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's Epigonoi Yfantis got control of the ball when Phoibos Bilias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dihnekis Kakos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Cheimadió got a freekick which was hit by Dihnekis Kakos. After 82 played minutes, Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's Polybos Logarakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giannis Loizou came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kıbrıs Türk Gücü reached it. Epigonoi Yfantis made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Arkas Papadakos sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's goalkeeper Epigonoi Yfantis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arkas Papadakos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Angelopoulos in the 93rd minute of play forced Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's goalkeeper Epigonoi Yfantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michalis Angelopoulos took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epigonoi Yfantis. Epigonoi Yfantis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Giannis Loizou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Briarios Kourempes in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cheimadió walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
