After a rather tough play, Dzheferlii's Elenko Zagorov got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Doncho Monov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Teodor Ranev was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, one of Dzheferlii:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 11 minutes into the game, Velin Gilev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Marschowiza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dzheferlii the free kick. A collision led to FC Marschowiza getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Velin Gilev hit a great ball. When Nencho Lalev came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Dzheferlii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nencho Lalev couldn't finish the play. After having played for 14 minutes, Nencho Lalev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dzheferlii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nencho Lalev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Miroslav Koshov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nencho Lalev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rafail Gúlev made a huge save. The supporters of FC Marschowiza booed when Dzheferlii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elenko Zagorov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes FC Marschowiza got a freekick which was hit by Velin Gilev. Nencho Lalevs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Rafail Gúlev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stefan Ralchev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Rafail Gúlev made a huge save. Yuli Svetozarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sasho Moraliyski in the 42nd minute of play. Elenko Zagorov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rafail Gúlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Marschowiza's Rafail Gúlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Koshov in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the game, FC Marschowiza's Sasho Moraliyski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuli Svetozarov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 55 played minutes FC Marschowiza got a freekick which was hit by Sasho Moraliyski. Nencho Lalev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rafail Gúlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dzheferlii's Yuli Svetozarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Dzheferlii from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nencho Lalev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dzheferlii's supporters rose to their feet, but Nencho Lalev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafail Gúlev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute Nencho Lalev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafail Gúlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Marschowiza booed when Dzheferlii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzolo Dragomanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, FC Marschowiza's Velin Gilev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee ignored FC Marschowiza's protests and gave Sasho Moraliyski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, FC Marschowiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sasho Moraliyski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nencho Lalev in the 76th minute of play forced FC Marschowiza's goalkeeper Rafail Gúlev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Koshov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafail Gúlev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dzheferlii. If Nencho Lalev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of FC Marschowiza echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Dzheferlii had held the ball for most of the match.
