In the 21stth minute of the game Ignat Geraskov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nivishta's Gyuro Merodiyski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Nivishta booed when B u l g a r a n was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stoimen Stepanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nivishta's Nedko Malinkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boyan Chanev. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Nedko Malinkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nivishta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nedko Malinkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to B u l g a r a n getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Botyo Sudkovski hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignat Geraskov made a kick off. Boyan Chanev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yancho Krusharov's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Nedko Malinkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Boyan Chanev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nedko Malinkov struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Boyan Chanev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nivishta. Ignat Geraskov struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yancho Krusharov in the 85th minute of play forced B u l g a r a n's goalkeeper Boyan Chanev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nedko Malinkov came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Nivishta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nedko Malinkov couldn't finish the play. If Yancho Krusharov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
