Boris Kyutev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yancho Krusharov, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Rostislav Bikarski struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gyuro Merodiyski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Austria Wien. When Nivishta's Yancho Krusharov in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Austria Wien's goalie prevented a goal. Gyuro Merodiyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viden Tzenov in the 18th minute of the match. If Yancho Krusharov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nivishta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Rostislav Bikarski scored to the left of an out of position Gyuro Merodiyski, making the score, 1-0. Nivishta's Gyuro Merodiyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viden Tzenov in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Nivishta's goalkeeper Gyuro Merodiyski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rostislav Bikarski. Martin Shtirkov kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, FK Austria Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Yancho Krusharov came free, but Boris Kyutev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Yancho Krusharov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nivishta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yancho Krusharov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Yancho Krusharov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yancho Krusharov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ognyan Goleminov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, FK Austria Wien's Gyuro Merodiyski threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viden Tzenov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yancho Krusharov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viden Tzenov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gyuro Merodiyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, FK Austria Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ognyan Goleminov to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Yancho Krusharov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Boris Kyutev, passed just outside the right post. With his leg Boris Kyutev managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Nivishta's Nedko Malinkov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, FK Austria Wien's goalkeeper Boris Kyutev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nedko Malinkov. When Martin Shtirkov fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Austria Wien's protests and gave Martin Shtirkov a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Shtirkov kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Yancho Krusharov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Kyutev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes FK Austria Wien got a freekick which was hit by Martin Shtirkov. Boris Kyutev was a little too slow when Nedko Malinkov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-1. FK Austria Wien's Boris Kyutev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedko Rusimov in the 74th minute of play. Nedko Malinkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Boris Kyutev made a huge save. Martin Shtirkov hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Nedko Rusimov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boris Kyutev. FK Austria Wien's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nedko Malinkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, FK Austria Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Yancho Krusharov came free, but Boris Kyutev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nedko Malinkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Austria Wien's goalkeeper Boris Kyutev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 91 minutes, Lozan Shiyakov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Austria Wien and the Nivishta players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Nivishta's Nedko Rusimov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Boris Kyutev. FK Austria Wien's Boris Kyutev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save FK Austria Wien from getting a goal against them.
