Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stamen Pomakov started the match with the kick off. Stamen Pomakov hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Nalbantlare were awarded a corner. Stamen Pomakov went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Nalbantlare's Stamen Pomakov to fire away a dangerous shot which Veselin Beslimov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Temelko Vúkov charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Temelko Vúkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Nalbantlare got a freekick which was hit by Temelko Vúkov. OFK Spartak Pleven's Benislav Kolev got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Yanaki Dlúgnekov with Yavor Kúdrev as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 31 played minutes Nalbantlare got a freekick which was hit by Emanuil Boyadzhov. A collision led to Nalbantlare getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Emanuil Boyadzhov hit a great ball. Nalbantlare's Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Nalbantlare from getting a goal against them. Stamen Pomakov struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Veselin Beslimov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nalbantlare. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lazar Drandarov was the one to do the kick off. If Lazar Drandarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of OFK Spartak Pleven booed when Nalbantlare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzoko Gadzhev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tzoko Gadzhev hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Yanaki Dlúgnekov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Benislav Kolev notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Nalbantlare's Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov. Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute Benislav Kolev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stamen Pomakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Nalbantlare getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Milan Múnzov hit a great ball. Yavor Kúdrev hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Lazar Drandarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nalbantlare's Branimir Binev got a free kick in the 90th minute. Nalbantlare's Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benislav Kolev in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Lazar Drandarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nalbantlare's Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benislav Kolev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that OFK Spartak Pleven were the better team. OFK Spartak Pleven's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
