Lachezar Deninski came out of the goal and Venko Chorbov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lyuboslav Keremedchiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lachezar Deninski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlin Gudzhev took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lachezar Deninski. Lachezar Deninski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlin Gudzhev in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lachezar Deninski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the game, Mircho Kurdomanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THE RED STARS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave emil team the free kick. A collision led to THE RED STARS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mircho Kurdomanov hit a great ball. When Mircho Kurdomanov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. In the 27th minute, Mircho Kurdomanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes THE RED STARS got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Kerezov. 31 minutes into the match, Orlin Gudzhev notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of THE RED STARS's Lachezar Deninski. Lachezar Deninski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 played minutes THE RED STARS got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Kerezov. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lyuboslav Keremedchiev managed to get in a good position for a shot. emil team's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyuboslav Keremedchiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lachezar Deninski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lyuboslav Keremedchiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marian Metev to strike the kick off in the second half. Svetoslav Hubavenski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute of the match Yuri Chernokozhev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lachezar Deninski skillfully saved the ball. Lachezar Deninski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlin Gudzhev in the 61st minute of play. Marian Metev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Orlin Gudzhev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lachezar Deninski. THE RED STARS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlin Gudzhev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Orlin Gudzhev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lachezar Deninski was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Orlin Gudzhev managed to get in a good position for a shot. emil team's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlin Gudzhev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Penko Karapandzhiev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Svetoslav Hubavenski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lachezar Deninski having to interfere. Lyuboslav Keremedchiev struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lachezar Deninski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for emil team.
