Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Slavyan Yotzev started the match with the kick off. Baransel Tezveren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Volodya Bochev having to make a save. In the 6th minute, Shane Nottingham made a precise shot to the right of Volodya Bochev. FC Batanovtzi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Shane Nottingham put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Volodya Bochev. In the 23rd minute ФК Цомбомания were awarded a corner. Daniel Gaxan went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ФК Цомбомания's corner Romeo Bărnuțiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Volodya Bochev quite easily take care of the ball. Volodya Bochev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shane Nottingham's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Frasco Morales made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Alek Pramatarov sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Batanovtzi's Nacho Mechkarski got a free kick in the 35th minute. Shane Nottingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shane Nottingham scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Volodya Bochev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shane Nottingham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Volodya Bochev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shane Nottingham was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Baransel Tezveren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 58 minutes into the match, FC Batanovtzi's goalkeeper Volodya Bochev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shane Nottingham. 62 minutes into the match, Shane Nottingham notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FC Batanovtzi's Volodya Bochev. Volodya Bochev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Shane Nottingham sped through FC Batanovtzi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Volodya Bochev. 68 minutes into the game, ФК Цомбомания's Haroldas Stanevičius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Volodya Bochev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. FC Batanovtzi's Volodya Bochev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC Batanovtzi from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute Stoyadin Godinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frasco Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slavyan Yotzev in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frasco Morales saved ФК Цомбомания from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Batanovtzi's Vencho Doganov got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Batanovtzi's zone, Daniel Gaxan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volodya Bochev came out of the goal and Daniel Gaxan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Evgeni Tzandev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, ФК Цомбомания's Baransel Tezveren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Volodya Bochev. Volodya Bochev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Shane Nottingham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
