In the 14th minute of the match, Rumen Kalenderov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikifor Shukadarov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Trendafil Bitolski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Nikifor Shukadarov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Everton F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tzonko Topalski came free, but Nikifor Shukadarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC 13's zone, Rolf Andberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grisha Kukenski came out of the goal and Rolf Andberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severin Dzhonev scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grisha Kukenski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grisha Kukenski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Andberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Rolf Andberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grisha Kukenski having to make a save. In the 31st minute, Severin Dzhonev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grisha Kukenski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Grisha Kukenski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severin Dzhonev's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC 13's zone, Severin Dzhonev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grisha Kukenski came out of the goal and Severin Dzhonev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severin Dzhonev walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Everton F.C.'s Rolf Andberg got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grisha Kukenski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severin Dzhonev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kamen Ambarev came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Everton F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamen Ambarev couldn't finish the play.

After 54 played minutes Everton F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kamen Ambarev. Grisha Kukenski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC 13 defense, Rolf Andberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grisha Kukenski. The FC 13 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grisha Kukenski should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Everton F.C. booed when FC 13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chavdar Gonev didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC 13 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Chavdar Gonev hit a great ball. Grisha Kukenski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. After 84 played minutes Everton F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zdravko Chelibeev. Nikifor Shukadarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rumen Kalenderov, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Severin Dzhonev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Grisha Kukenski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Kamen Ambarev was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Anko Kyulumov kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Nikifor Shukadarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trendafil Bitolski in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trendafil Bitolski in the 96th minute of play forced Everton F.C.'s goalkeeper Nikifor Shukadarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Everton F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
