In the 4th minute Hakkı Kenan Umay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahim Usare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rahim Usare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Ali Akasma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Egirdir FK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dursun Ali Akasma hit a great ball. Rahim Usare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dursun Ali Akasma, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, GÜMELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hıncal Rıfat to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Buğra Mensur managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when GÜMELİSPOR's Tanju Çolak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luiz Suarez scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Buğra Mensur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rahim Usare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Kenan Umay in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Egirdir FK's Dursun Ali Akasma made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rahim Usare was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 52nd minute, Baha İkinci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanju Çolak didn't quite understand what happened when in the 54 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Buğra Mensur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alptuğ Barın in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, GÜMELİSPOR's goalkeeper Rahim Usare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hakkı Kenan Umay. Hakkı Kenan Umay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rahim Usare made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erman Tamkut during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Egirdir FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eser Mümin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Egirdir FK booed when GÜMELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ogün Gazel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakkı Kenan Umay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Usare having to interfere. Alptuğ Barın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özgün Aker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Buğra Mensur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egirdir FK's Buğra Mensur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Suarez in the 91st minute of play. 3-1 became the score in the 93rd minute when Alptuğ Barın elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. There was no doubt that GÜMELİSPOR were the better team. GÜMELİSPOR's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
