The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamdi Koçarslan got free with Arif Nihat İsiman in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee showed Baybora Ünalmış the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Ilic got a freekick which was hit by Baybora Ünalmış. In the 34th minute, Oguzeli FK's Reşat Tanzer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arif Nihat İsiman. Arif Nihat İsiman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Ilic getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gürkan Sarıdoğan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reşat Tanzer in the 47th minute of play forced Ilic's goalkeeper Arif Nihat İsiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Nedim Ünseven made a kick off. İlhan Naci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ahmet Nedim Ünseven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Nihat İsiman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İlhan Naci went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reşat Tanzer in the 60th minute of play forced Ilic's goalkeeper Arif Nihat İsiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Nihat İsiman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamdi Koçarslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Oguzeli FK got a corner. Ilic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İzzet Kadi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 66 minutes, Ünal Şahinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oguzeli FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ünal Şahinalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İlhan Naci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Nihat İsiman having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Oguzeli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünal Şahinalp to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nedim Ünseven in the 71st minute of play forced Oguzeli FK's goalkeeper Fırat Müjdat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
