Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sümer Gökdoğan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mesut Onuktekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lefter Bircanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bünyan's Halit Seralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahir Ergener in the 9th minute of play. Necmi Budun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Halis Nursal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halit Seralp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Halit Seralp came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Elazig SK's Mehmet Halis Nursal. But to his dismay, Mehmet Halis Nursal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sümer Gökdoğan struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Lefter Bircanoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bünyan. In the 24th minute Necmi Budun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Seralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Halis Nursal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halit Seralp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. İskender Enver's late challenge caught a Elazig SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İskender Enver helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bünyan getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. İskender Enver hit a great ball. Halit Seralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necmi Budun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Halis Nursal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gogo Berenguer came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Bünyan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Berenguer couldn't finish the play. Sümer Gökdoğan struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Gogo Berenguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Necmi Budun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Halit Seralp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sümer Gökdoğan might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lefter Bircanoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sümer Gökdoğan ran back to his position shaking his head. The Bünyan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elazig SK were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Necmi Budun made the kick off in the second half. Necip Fazıl Işıldar struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lefter Bircanoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bünyan. In the 54th match minute, Bünyan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İskender Enver to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gogo Berenguer during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gogo Berenguer hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th play minute Mehmet Halis Nursal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Halit Seralp. 0-3. Mehmet Halis Nursal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sümer Gökdoğan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lefter Bircanoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Gogo Berenguer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bünyan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 78 minutes into the game, Sven de Koster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bünyan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elazig SK the free kick. The supporters of Elazig SK booed when Bünyan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven de Koster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Halis Nursal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Halit Seralp firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mesut Onuktekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lefter Bircanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lefter Bircanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sümer Gökdoğan in the 86th minute of play. Sümer Gökdoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lefter Bircanoğlu having to interfere. Bünyan's Gogo Berenguer got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elazig SK's goalkeeper Lefter Bircanoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lefter Bircanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sümer Gökdoğan in the 93rd minute of play. Mesut Onuktekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lefter Bircanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bünyan's Sümer Gökdoğan got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Elazig SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Elazig SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
