When Batu Cem Emrettin came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Göktas FK fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazhar Cambaz in the 7th minute of play forced PJoker's goalkeeper Melik Ersunal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batu Cem Emrettin struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Melik Ersunal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göktas FK. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Mazhar Cambaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göktas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazhar Cambaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melik Ersunal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the PJoker defense, Batu Cem Emrettin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melik Ersunal. The PJoker fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melik Ersunal should have stopped the shot. After 22 played minutes Göktas FK got a freekick which was hit by Acun Zübeyir. 23 minutes into the game, Meriç Yağan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PJoker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Göktas FK the free kick. Meriç Yağan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Göktas FK booed when PJoker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazmi Oğuztüzün didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mazhar Cambaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bora Türel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazhar Cambaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melik Ersunal having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Melik Ersunal was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Göktas FK were the better team. Göktas FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
