Ali Ömer Onar hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes İsa Afgan shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Sürtünmesiz Pistons's Aydın Vecid to catch but İsa Afgan was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Sürtünmesiz Pistons's Aydın Vecid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esen Yusuf in the 21st minute of play. Naci Eyüpoğlu struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Aydın Vecid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALTAY. Aydın Vecid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esen Yusuf, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Naci Eyüpoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sürtünmesiz Pistons's Aydın Vecid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naci Eyüpoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Naci Eyüpoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aydın Vecid was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Esen Yusuf came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the ALTAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esen Yusuf couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sürtünmesiz Pistons's goalkeeper Aydın Vecid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Naci Eyüpoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aydın Vecid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Naci Eyüpoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sürtünmesiz Pistons's Aydın Vecid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esen Yusuf got free with Aydın Vecid in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aydın Vecid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naci Eyüpoğlu in the 57th minute of the match. If Esen Yusuf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Müjdat Ülkenur managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALTAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Müjdat Ülkenur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aydın Vecid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over ALTAY could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sürtünmesiz Pistons throughout the match.
