In the 21st match minute, Karatay SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Emre Ersed to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Mehmet Emre Ersed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karatay SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Emre Ersed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berker Rıza Özaltan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After taking down the ball on Karatay SK's corner Barbaros İftihar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Berker Rıza Özaltan quite easily take care of the ball. Ferhat Resat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edip Hidayet having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vecdi Sarpkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izmirspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Vecdi Sarpkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edip Hidayet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nebi Akçakoca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 48th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Karatay SK reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karatay SK fully deserved thier win.
