Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Metin Boranalp kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Çevik's goalkeeper Abdullah Adal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Çevik's Birant Serim managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aşık Rehber in the 5 minute of the game. In the 8th minute Ulaş Atlıhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancarbey Tezeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Metin Boranalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, SOMA SK's Sancarbey Tezeren got control of the ball when Alemdar Pekdemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Abidin Keremşah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOMA SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Çevik the free kick. The supporters of Çevik booed when SOMA SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abidin Keremşah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Metin Boranalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sancarbey Tezeren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes SOMA SK got a freekick which was hit by Abidin Keremşah. After 31 played minutes SOMA SK got a freekick which was hit by İskender Verim. 33 minutes into the game, Çevik's Metin Boranalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sancarbey Tezeren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Aşık Rehber in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Çevik's Birant Serim. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nusrettin Kutlubay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ulaş Atlıhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ahmet Danış Nadir, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sancarbey Tezeren was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ulaş Atlıhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Çevik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birant Serim to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Özgür Keykavus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOMA SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özgür Keykavus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nusrettin Kutlubay struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Abdullah Adal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOMA SK. If Nusrettin Kutlubay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nusrettin Kutlubay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abdullah Adal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Çevik were the better team. Çevik's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
