Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yusuf Tunçkurt kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Mersin İdman Yurdu getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ergin Resai hit a great ball. Mersin İdman Yurdu's Arda Göksel Erçin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afşin Baysungur in the 24th minute of play. Atalan Akağan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mersin İdman Yurdu! When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Emirdag's Ahmet Kutsi Peyam got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arda Göksel Erçin. With a little luck, Mersin İdman Yurdu's Arda Göksel Erçin got control of the ball when Kamil Taçyıldız tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arda Göksel Erçin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afşin Baysungur in the 39th minute of play. Yusuf Tunçkurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Önder Özerman having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Afşin Baysungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Arda Göksel Erçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Afşin Baysungur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Göksel Erçin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Emirdag booed when Mersin İdman Yurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atalan Akağan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Önder Özerman made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Akşemseddin Özerkin sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Oğuz Ceberut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mersin İdman Yurdu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
