Thanks to some nice moves Batı Ataner could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Demirhan Taha however easily saved by the left post. Gökhan Özender charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökhan Özender the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Agva's İskender Baki Şenbay tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Demirhan Taha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birdal Ballıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Agva's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Birdal Ballıoğlu 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Muhammet Erakalın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but İlker Başarman was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. With a little luck, Agva's Demirhan Taha got control of the ball when Batı Ataner tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birdal Ballıoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batı Ataner in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demirhan Taha saved Agva from getting behind. Can Cansefa's late challenge caught a HendekSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Agva:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of HendekSpor:s goal. Demirhan Taha went to the wrong direction when Behiç Haşmetli was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Behiç Haşmetli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demirhan Taha having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Arcan Zeynelabidin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Birdal Ballıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. HendekSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Birdal Ballıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demirhan Taha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Batı Ataner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HendekSpor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Gökhan Özender got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gökhan Özender hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Yetkiner Yenal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Yetkiner Yenal sped through HendekSpor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of İlker Başarman. Yetkiner Yenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlker Başarman having to interfere. HendekSpor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
