After 7 played minutes Edremit got a freekick which was hit by Göktürk Nahit. 9 minutes into the match, Lütfi Perk notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Edremit's Berkan Şehzat. Berkan Şehzat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the game, Gökmen Akpolat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KARAKARTALJK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edremit the free kick. After 13 played minutes KARAKARTALJK got a freekick which was hit by Gökmen Akpolat. With a little luck, KARAKARTALJK's Zeki Tükel got control of the ball when Göktürk Nahit tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 minutes, Göktürk Nahit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edremit and the KARAKARTALJK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Edremit got a freekick which was hit by Göktürk Nahit. Mehmet Efe Temizöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeki Tükel having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Edremit's goal looked a bit too open when Hami Tükel came free, but Berkan Şehzat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Efe Temizöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeki Tükel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Efe Temizöz ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehmet Efe Temizöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lütfi Perk to make the kick off. Yiğitcan Utkan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Edremit's goalkeeper Berkan Şehzat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Hamza Enfa. Zeki Tükel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Efe Temizöz's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Mehmet Efe Temizöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zeki Tükel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Ömer Kutsalan in the 70th minute of play. Ali Ömer Kutsalan charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Ömer Kutsalan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Edremit getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind KARAKARTALJK's goalkeeper Zeki Tükel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hasan Balamir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Edremit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Ömer Kutsalan to maneuver through the defense. Yiğitcan Utkan came free in the 94th minute and tried to tip the ball over Zeki Tükel, but to the joy of KARAKARTALJK's supporters the ball went over.
