Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beppe Zulli in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peyami Serter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlus short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Cumhur Yalazalp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 30 played minutes Adıyamanspor got a freekick which was hit by Berk Pektürk. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özer Demirer might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cumhur Yalazalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özer Demirer ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu got free with Cumhur Yalazalp in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 minutes, Necat Esir made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Konya's Peyami Serter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumhur Yalazalp having to interfere. Cumhur Yalazalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahim Şahistan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Konya's Özer Demirer got a free kick in the 79th minute. Adıyamanspor's Cumhur Yalazalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özer Demirer in the 81st minute of play. Necat Esir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peyami Serter came out and tried to block the shot, but Necat Esir slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 82nd minute. Adıyamanspor were furious when Nildo Quadros was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
