Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emrullah Başel started the match with the kick off. Emrullah Başel charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emrullah Başel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Konya booed when Mihalgazi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrullah Başel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabri Türker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özer Demirer, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Emrullah Başel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Emrullah Başel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyami Serter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peyami Serter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nafiz Kocaker in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Emrullah Başel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Mihalgazi JK's Sabri Türker got control of the ball when Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emrullah Başel scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peyami Serter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Behzat Dalan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sezen Mengücek hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Mihalgazi JK's Sabri Türker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teoman Mahşer in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Mihalgazi JK's Sabri Türker got control of the ball when Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Özer Demirer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Özer Demirer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konya's supporters rose to their feet, but Özer Demirer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Türker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Konya's zone, Sezen Mengücek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peyami Serter came out of the goal and Sezen Mengücek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özer Demirer to make the kick off. Teoman Mahşer charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teoman Mahşer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Konya getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Teoman Mahşer hit a great ball. Mihalgazi JK's Timur Şahruh got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu in the 58th minute of play forced Mihalgazi JK's goalkeeper Sabri Türker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Hüseyin Turan Tangun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sabri Türker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ahmet Nafiz Kocaker might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peyami Serter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Nafiz Kocaker ran back to his position shaking his head. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabri Türker having to make a save. The Konya fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Konya's Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabri Türker having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emrullah Başel in the 75th minute of play forced Konya's goalkeeper Peyami Serter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teoman Mahşer kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Timur Şahruh led 78 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Konya's Peyami Serter became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mihalgazi JK's goalkeeper Sabri Türker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sabri Türker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peyami Serter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrullah Başel in the 93rd minute of play. The Mihalgazi JK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
