Cenan Karacan struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Reha Taran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çelebi United. After 7 played minutes MehmetHan got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Emrah Kamil. If Şeref Açıker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Cenan Karacan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reha Taran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cenan Karacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reha Taran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genco Tanyolaç in the 33rd minute of the match. Alphan Gürgen was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Şeref Açıker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Şeref Açıker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Şeref Açıker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MehmetHan's Peker İsmail got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Atilla Tarkan Şavat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reha Taran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. MehmetHan's Reha Taran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genco Tanyolaç in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Çelebi United's Genco Tanyolaç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reha Taran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cenan Karacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şeref Açıker made a kick off. A collision led to MehmetHan getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mustafa Emrah Kamil hit a great ball. After some careless play in the MehmetHan defense, Genco Tanyolaç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reha Taran. The MehmetHan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reha Taran should have stopped the shot. Genco Tanyolaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reha Taran having to interfere. Reha Taran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenan Karacan in the 69th minute of the match. Rıfat İley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alphan Gürgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Çelebi United's Cenan Karacan in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MehmetHan's goalie prevented a goal. Reha Taran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenan Karacan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MehmetHan getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mustafa Emrah Kamil hit a great ball. Reha Taran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cenan Karacan's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Rıfat İley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfat İley in the 85th minute of play forced Çelebi United's goalkeeper Alphan Gürgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arif Ozan Cansoy fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Çelebi United's protests and gave Arif Ozan Cansoy a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Çelebi United got a freekick which was hit by Arif Ozan Cansoy. Reha Taran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genco Tanyolaç in the 88th minute. Rıfat İley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Genco Tanyolaç fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Çelebi United's protests and gave Genco Tanyolaç a yellow card for diving instead. Genco Tanyolaç hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Şeref Açıker came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the MehmetHan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şeref Açıker couldn't finish the play. Cenan Karacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reha Taran having to interfere. The MehmetHan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Çelebi United's performance. The match ended with a win for Çelebi United.
