Vecdet Usun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pars Yücelay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pars Yücelay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vecdet Usun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Semavi Ahioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Vecdet Usun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tadeusz Bartochowski. If Pars Yücelay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Büyükorhan SK's Gencal İcmal got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Büyükorhan SK's Vecdet Usun got control of the ball when Pars Yücelay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abdulkerim Kuman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gilbert Rudy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
