Levent Ongunsu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Ahmet Haşim Kırman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edremit JK's Vecdet Şen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Haşim Kırman in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Ahmet Haşim Kırman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tokat Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Haşim Kırman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Haşim Kırman in the 67th minute of play forced Edremit JK's goalkeeper Vecdet Şen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arif Bilge İğdemir, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vecdet Şen was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Arif Bilge İğdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tokat Spor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
