With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osman Nuri Orgun in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Soner Tunçkan saved Kocaali from getting behind. Soner Tunçkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osman Nuri Orgun in the 10th minute of the match. When Cemil Yağınalp came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Lüleburgaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cemil Yağınalp couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Osman Nuri Orgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soner Tunçkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osman Nuri Orgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tayyar Timurkan during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kocaali's Tayyar Timurkan got a free kick in the 21st minute. Feyzullay Aydın hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Kocaali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayyar Timurkan to maneuver through the defense. Ömer Rıza İlke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Soner Tunçkan. Kocaali's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hayrullah Vefi made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ertaç Cevar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osman Nuri Orgun in the 41st minute of play forced Kocaali's goalkeeper Soner Tunçkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cemil Yağınalp to make the kick off. When Cemil Yağınalp came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lüleburgaz fans jumped to their feet. Lüleburgaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Osman Nuri Orgun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Soner Tunçkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cemil Yağınalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lüleburgaz's Hayrullah Vefi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertaç Cevar in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Lüleburgaz's Cemil Yağınalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Soner Tunçkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kocaali's Soner Tunçkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Kocaali from getting a goal against them. Soner Tunçkan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cemil Yağınalp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Kocaali's goalkeeper Soner Tunçkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osman Nuri Orgun. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cemil Yağınalp in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soner Tunçkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Kocaali's goal looked a bit too open when Cemil Yağınalp came free, but Soner Tunçkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şemsettin Taşan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hayrullah Vefi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Hayrullah Vefi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şemsettin Taşan went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ertaç Cevar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrullah Vefi having to interfere. Kocaali succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Lüleburgaz had controlled the match.
