In the 4th play minute Koray Özaslan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yavuzalp İçöz. 1-0. Kıraç Irgatbaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ali Nabi Gültekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koray Özaslan got free with Yavuzalp İçöz in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Nabi Gültekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aral Musa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Aral Musa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Nabi Gültekin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Zonguldakspor JK got a freekick which was hit by Refik Sena. 27 minutes into the match, Karaburun's Arslan Doğanlar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Koray Özaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Nabi Gültekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aral Musa in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Koray Özaslan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zonguldakspor JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Koray Özaslan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yavuzalp İçöz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yavuzalp İçöz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koray Özaslan in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Binali Yavuzalp to strike the kick off in the second half. Zonguldakspor JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koray Özaslan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Mustafa Hamit Temizhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yavuzalp İçöz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Kıraç Irgatbaşı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Koray Özaslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Yavuzalp İçöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aral Musa in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Nabi Gültekin saved Zonguldakspor JK from getting behind. Zonguldakspor JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
