PanTÜRKizm's supporters rose to their feet, but Görkem Usluer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edip Rakim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PanTÜRKizm's İlhami İpek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save PanTÜRKizm from getting a goal against them. Erdi Gencay's late challenge caught a PanTÜRKizm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erdi Gencay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Erdi Gencay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cavit Sabir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but İlhami İpek made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Görkem Usluer in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edip Rakim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adem Kurtaran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. İlhami İpek came out and tried to block the shot, but Adem Kurtaran slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 38th minute. In the 47th minute Görkem Usluer suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Erdi Gencay got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Yenifakili getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Erdi Gencay hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Yenifakili's Cavit Sabir got a free kick in the 51st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cavit Sabir made a kick off. A hard shot 58 in the game by Yavuz Bülent Kahveci from a close distance when the talented Edip Rakim managed to make a qualified save. Yenifakili's players were relieved. Yavuz Bülent Kahveci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edip Rakim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Yenifakili's Edip Rakim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Yenifakili from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Şentürk Akkoyun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlhami İpek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cavit Sabir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami İpek having to interfere. After some careless play in the PanTÜRKizm defense, Cavit Sabir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İlhami İpek. The PanTÜRKizm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İlhami İpek should have stopped the shot. Battal Seyyit Tandoğdu's late challenge caught a Yenifakili's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Battal Seyyit Tandoğdu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Battal Seyyit Tandoğdu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yavuz Bülent Kahveci struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Edip Rakim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PanTÜRKizm. In the 97th minute, PanTÜRKizm's Yavuz Bülent Kahveci dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1.
