Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Keciören's goal looked a bit too open when Sacit Temizhan came free, but Kamber Uçbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keciören's Kamber Uçbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürhan Aşık in the 13th minute of play. Bora Koral's late challenge caught a Keciören's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bora Koral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ZonguldakSpor's Bora Koral got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, ZonguldakSpor's goalkeeper Oğuzalp Ihlamur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orçun Nihat. After 35 minutes, Şafak Rafih mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keciören and the ZonguldakSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sacit Temizhan's late challenge caught a Keciören's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oğuzalp Ihlamur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ensar Uluğ in the 41st minute of play. Ensar Uluğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzalp Ihlamur having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ensar Uluğ to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orçun Nihat during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Keciören getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Orçun Nihat hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Ensar Uluğ notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ZonguldakSpor's Oğuzalp Ihlamur. Oğuzalp Ihlamur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 72 minutes, Ulu Canfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZonguldakSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulu Canfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulu Canfer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. ZonguldakSpor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sacit Temizhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamber Uçbay having to interfere. Sacit Temizhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Sacit Temizhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kamber Uçbay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Sacit Temizhan could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Kamber Uçbay however easily saved by the left post. If Ulu Canfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ZonguldakSpor's Altan Yurtsever got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
