Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Sefa Selçuk made the kick off and thus started the match. Ali Cafer Uğuş hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Macit Kantürk took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yağızhan Onural. Yağızhan Onural dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Macit Kantürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The İZMİRSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sartep FK's zone, Öztürk Malkoçoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yağızhan Onural came out of the goal and Öztürk Malkoçoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yağızhan Onural stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hadi Uğurel's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, İZMİRSPOR's Öztürk Malkoçoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yağızhan Onural made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Derya Elmastaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Macit Kantürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. İZMİRSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Macit Kantürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yağızhan Onural breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes Sartep FK got a freekick which was hit by Aybars Sarbay. Macit Kantürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Derya Elmastaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tuncay Cemre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Öztürk Malkoçoğlu in the 35th minute of play forced Sartep FK's goalkeeper Yağızhan Onural to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Öztürk Malkoçoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sartep FK's Yağızhan Onural played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macit Kantürk in the 39th minute of play. After the first half İZMİRSPOR were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Macit Kantürk made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sartep FK booed when İZMİRSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Öztürk Malkoçoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 minutes of play, İZMİRSPOR's Öztürk Malkoçoğlu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yağızhan Onural was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the game, Öztürk Malkoçoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Yağızhan Onural was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 62 minutes, Macit Kantürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. İZMİRSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Macit Kantürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, İZMİRSPOR's Öztürk Malkoçoğlu made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yağızhan Onural was left in no man's land by his defense there! İZMİRSPOR's Osman Ali Şahistan was substituted for Hadi Uğurel. 76 minutes into the game, Necmi Nesefi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İZMİRSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sartep FK the free kick. Derya Elmastaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yağızhan Onural was a little too slow when Karadeniz Gülerce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-8. The audience was convinced that Macit Kantürk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yağızhan Onural was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Sartep FK's goalkeeper Yağızhan Onural had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Öztürk Malkoçoğlu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Öztürk Malkoçoğlu got free with Yağızhan Onural in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute İZMİRSPOR were awarded a corner. Leszek Siwy went to the cornerflag to take it. Leszek Siwy made a great header on İZMİRSPOR's corner, it was just that Sartep FK's Yağızhan Onural managed to reach the ball for a save. Öztürk Malkoçoğlu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Yağızhan Onural didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for İZMİRSPOR. Öztürk Malkoçoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded İZMİRSPOR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sartep FK.
