Görkem Yalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Günay Aydıntan's late challenge caught a Harmancik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Günay Aydıntan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yeni Mahalle SK's Günay Aydıntan got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kıraç Öksal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Görkem Yalman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harmancik's Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Görkem Yalman in the 31st minute of play. Uğur Çakmur made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Işıkalp Kaman sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Yeni Mahalle SK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Yavuz Bülent Adaş hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Görkem Yalman in the 44th minute of play forced Harmancik's goalkeeper Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nurettin Zade fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harmancik's protests and gave Nurettin Zade a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Harmancik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nurettin Zade to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Tayfur İskenderoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güneri Civanbaht stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uğur Çakmur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güneri Civanbaht, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Işıkalp Kaman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harmancik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yeni Mahalle SK the free kick. In the 78thth minute of the game Işıkalp Kaman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yeni Mahalle SK's Uğur Çakmur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Görkem Yalman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 minutes, Aykutalp Tozun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harmancik and the Yeni Mahalle SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yavuz Bülent Adaş placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Görkem Yalman might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Görkem Yalman ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Yeni Mahalle SK defense, Işıkalp Kaman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uğur Çakmur. The Yeni Mahalle SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uğur Çakmur should have stopped the shot. Yeni Mahalle SK's Uğur Çakmur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nurettin Zade in the 101st minute of play. Many of Yeni Mahalle SK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Yeni Mahalle SK may have spent more time on the ball, but Harmancik were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
