Sertaç Özerek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Fazıl İlkutay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Burak Acabay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burak Acabay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Galatasaray getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Güner Akadlı hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, FC Galatasaray's goalkeeper Fazıl İlkutay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sertaç Özerek. Sertaç Özerek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Fazıl İlkutay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Güner Akadlı hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Burak Acabay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alkın Mensur in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Fazıl İlkutay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkın Mensur in the 90th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Galatasaray players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Goztan SK.
