In the 10th minute of the match Özgün Canol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Selmi Sehriyar skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vefa Tunç in the 12th minute of play forced Igdir JK's goalkeeper Selmi Sehriyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, İzzet Sümre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Selmi Sehriyar. Igdir JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İzzet Sümre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Özgün Canol in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Igdir JK's Anıl Ege Ünzil. Yusufeli's Tolunay Vecihi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Akyazı in the 42nd minute of play. Naci Dilsafa charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naci Dilsafa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Igdir JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naci Dilsafa to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Ozan Dirayet missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 48 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Selmi Sehriyar right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bora Akyazı made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Igdir JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gökcan Işınay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. İzzet Sümre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Selmi Sehriyar made a huge save. Selmi Sehriyar made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when İzzet Sümre sent off a good shot on target. Igdir JK's Selmi Sehriyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vefa Tunç in the 64th minute of play. Tolunay Vecihi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bora Akyazı in the 65th minute of the match. İzzet Sümre came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Selmi Sehriyar could save by the left post. A collision led to Igdir JK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. The Igdir JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selmi Sehriyar should have stopped the shot. Selmi Sehriyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by İzzet Sümre in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when İzzet Sümre got free with Selmi Sehriyar in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. İzzet Sümre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Selmi Sehriyar made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Igdir JK's goal looked a bit too open when Vefa Tunç came free, but Selmi Sehriyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
