Müslüm Zabit was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ardahan JK's Müslüm Zabit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necdet Şehzade in the 43rd minute of play. Caner Erkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müslüm Zabit having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 52nd minute, Ziya Onur Taif ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Müslüm Zabit was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Saruhan Tumbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Müslüm Zabit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rahim Türk charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rahim Türk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rahim Türk hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ardahan JK booed when Kaplan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahim Türk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaplan FK's Kamil Başaran was substituted for Agostinho Bueno. In the 73rd minute, Rahim Türk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ziya Onur Taif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müslüm Zabit having to interfere. A collision led to Kaplan FK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sezgin Mukaddes hit a great ball. When Vahdet Umurbey fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaplan FK's protests and gave Vahdet Umurbey a yellow card for diving instead.
