In the 11th minute of the match, Saruhan Tumbay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tolunay Vecihi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kaplan FK's Loïc Vigoureux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İzzet Sümre in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Yusufeli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Öztürk Uzbay to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kaplan FK booed when Yusufeli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. İzzet Sümre didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Yusufeli's Tolunay Vecihi got control of the ball when Ziya Onur Taif tried to sneak it across the goal line. Derviş Okbudun hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. During the 62nd minute of the match Derviş Okbudun completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Derviş Okbudun a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Yusufeli booed when Kaplan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alaaddin Akburç didn't get a good kick on the ball.
