Sahinbey FK's Ünal Sudi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevdet Gülle in the 11th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Hüsmen Emiroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erkan Cumali was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Erkan Cumali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutluay Safir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Sahinbey FK got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Saygın Özgenay. After 28 minutes, Cevdet Gülle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KUZEY ARAS FC and the Sahinbey FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Sahinbey FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Asım Arif Oray fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rüştü Batıray made a kick off. A collision led to KUZEY ARAS FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ercan Tuney hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, KUZEY ARAS FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kutluay Safir fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Öztürk Namık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erkan Cumali having to interfere. Rüştü Batıray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erkan Cumali having to make a save. Mehmet Çağrı Camcıoğlu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Kandemir Zaid shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ünal Sudi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cevdet Gülle in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ünal Sudi saved Sahinbey FK from getting behind. Asım Arif Oray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ünal Sudi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The KUZEY ARAS FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when KUZEY ARAS FC's Cevdet Gülle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute Cevdet Gülle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ünal Sudi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When KUZEY ARAS FC's Cevdet Gülle in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Sahinbey FK's zone, Cevdet Gülle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ünal Sudi came out of the goal and Cevdet Gülle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KUZEY ARAS FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sahinbey FK for a fine match.
