Tuncay Adıgüzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Enis Umar made a huge save. Mümtaz Lema hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tuncay Adıgüzel got free with Enis Umar in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alpay Ula hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. During the 48th minute of the match Mümtaz Lema completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mümtaz Lema a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 49th minute, Mümtaz Lema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Manyas JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taşdelen FK the free kick.
