Rüstem Usbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okanalp Yay having to interfere. Nizam Demirman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gafur Sertel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ARES FK's Selman Remiz got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, ARES FK's goal looked a bit too open when Abay Sezgi came free, but Okanalp Yay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samet Uluant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gafur Sertel having to interfere. If Abay Sezgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rüstem Usbey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Okanalp Yay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samet Uluant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Samet Uluant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gafur Sertel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gafur Sertel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nizam Demirman in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Cevat Çinuçin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KULA SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ARES FK the free kick. The supporters of ARES FK booed when KULA SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevat Çinuçin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Samet Uluant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gafur Sertel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gafur Sertel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samet Uluant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After recieving a nice pass, ARES FK's Şakir Yoruk tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. KULA SK's Rüstem Usbey got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rüstem Usbey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Okanalp Yay was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. A collision led to KULA SK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ahmet Baki Ümran hit a great ball. ARES FK's Şakir Yoruk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gafur Sertel but with some difficulty. In the 83rd minute, Şakir Yoruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abay Sezgi in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Okanalp Yay saved ARES FK from getting behind. Okanalp Yay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüstem Usbey in the 86th minute of the match. Abay Sezgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okanalp Yay having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Abay Sezgi put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Okanalp Yay. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
